Documents and Software

The CDPP archive offers resources complementary to scientific data, such as data descriptions, software, and technical and scientific documentation, in the Documents section.

The documents are also available through the main menu under All products and Products by mission. Using the search panel, documents can be filtered by Document type:

• BIBLIOGRAPHY: Scientific publications with links to external sources
• DATA FORMAT: Descriptions of data formats
• DOCUMENT: General information, including technical notes, catalogs, publications
• SOFTWARE: Software for data analysis and visualization

Here, direct access to all Software is provided, whether mission-specific or general.

The CDPP archive also provides a set of general software libraries, available for use across various missions:

• DATAREADER: Tool for reading and extracting ASCII data from structured files
• MAGLIB: Library of geophysical, geomagnetic, and geographical calculation modules
• ROCOTLIB: Library for coordinate transformations for solar-terrestrial studies
• ROPROC: Library for processing spatial time series data
• pySPEDAS: Python interface for the Space Physics Environment Data Analysis System (SPEDAS)

These libraries are also accessible through the main menu under All products/Documents. Using the search panel, the software libraries can be filtered by Software library.

These resources are accessible to users who are logged in to their user account.
