DEMETER (Detection of Electro-Magnetic Emissions Transmitted from Earthquake Regions) is a micro-satellite developed by CNES in collaboration with French, European and Japanese laboratories. Demeter’s scientific payload is composed of several instruments that provide a nearly continuous survey of the plasma, waves and energetic particles around the Earth, via these experiments:
