CNES Archive of POLDER Data
About
The wide-field imaging radiometer POLDER (POLarization and Directionaly of Earth Reflectance) was designed by CNES. It measures the polarization of Sun light reflected from terrestrial surfaces in order to improve our knowledge of the radiative and microphysical properties of clouds and aerosols. Several versions of POLDER were used on different missions, of which the most recent one is PARASOL (Polarisation & Anisotropie des Réflectances au Sommet de l'Atmosphère) which is part of the Myriade microsatellite line.
